Expectations low, Palin scores in debate

I love this...

While both vice presidential candidates succeeded in their only debate of the campaign Thursday night, the stakes were much higher and the bar was much lower for Palin. So, in the contest of low expectations, Palin won.

So, for everyone out in the peanut gallery, Palin didn't sound exactly like the blithering, bumbling idiot she did during the Katie Curic debacle! SHE IS TEH UBER VP PICK EVA ZOMG!!1!11!!!

:roll eyes:

PS: Just saw this quote from Sarah Palin during last night's debate over at Crooks and Liars.

” Uh, nukuler weaponry, of course, would be the be-all, end-all of just too many people and too many parts of our planet so those dangerous regimes again cannot be allowed to acquire nukuler weapons, period.”

How friggin' sad is it that the bar is set so low that her limited ability to string scripted talking points into sentences is equated with success? The formats' lack of follow-up questions spared us from the painful spectacle of seeing her try to think on her feet. And I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what she was referring to she kept talking about "giant blenders" on several occasions.

My eyes glaze over everytime I hear her speak. "Joe Six-Pack" and her smiling at inappropriate times and just waiting to get in the little one liners she's obviously waiting to use.

Tina Fey on SNL is more Palin then Palin and doesn't even need to write a script.

I would feel sorry for her and the position she's gotten herself into if it weren't for the outragious lies about Obama that she's spreading - he palls around with terrorists. . .right.
