McCain Would Secretly Spy Too
I just LOVE John McCain, he's like totally the best dude EVER! Wants to overturn Roe v. Wade, has no problem staying in Iraq for 100 years and he is SO INTERESTED in what we're all doing that he'd secretly spy on us to find out!

I have a Lewis Black meltdown everytime I hear someone say they support this douche canoe and then try to convince me that he's somehow different than Chimpy.
November cannot come soon enough...
McCain scares me on every level...
even more than G dubya does. What does THAT tell you?
"douche canoe" . . .
hee hee that's just perfect.
McCain is exactly like Bushy, but with extra carazy.

Now that the Obama/Clinton "festival of primary" is over, maybe more of this stuff will get the attention it deserves.
I'm sorry to say this, but Obama would back spying as well.
Seems crazy, but its true.
Here's why:
Obama issued a statement basically supporting the latest FISA bill, except the part that gives retroactive immunity to the teleconms for past spying. He has said he will oppose the immunity provision, but wholeheartedly supports the rest of the bill, calling it an important "compromise".
The problem is this: the new "comprmise" states that the government can now spy on Americans INSIDE THE US (Houston to Miami, New York to Los Angeles, etc>) WITHOUT A WARRANT FOR 7 DAYS.
This is not a "compromise" at all, it is a dangerous, heretofore unseen granting of JUDICIAL power to the executive branch, which is wholly unconstitutional.
Basically, if this bill passes, the fourth Amendment is dead.
And Obama has not said a peep about it.
In fact, he supports the bill.
Sorry to burst everyone's bubble.
