OMG ROFLMAO
Clinton said Wednesday:
I'm sorry, but I don't think that JUST hard-working white Americans are the key to winning elections. First of all there are a lot of lazy white Americans, not to mention hard-working and lazy blacks, and hard-working and lazy hispanics, and hard-working and lazy asians, and hard-working and lazy... you get the point. Oh, and one more group. Don't forget the people who are more hard-working than lazy people and more lazy than the hard-working people.
I might be in that group.
Anywho.
As Wil Wheaton says*, I do believe Clinton has turned into the psycho ex-girlfriend of the DNC.
EDIT (5/9/08 12:57am): *Please note that Wil Wheaton did not specifically say the words as above after the comma, as they are not enclosed in quotation marks. Please click the trackback to the post on his blog entitled "hillary clinton: the psycho ex-girlfriend of the democratic party" in which he expresses his amusement at the sentiment made on Reddit. Clicking links is highly recommended to make sure that references made on this website are understood in context. I do apologize for paraphrasing her being the psycho ex-girlfriend of the DNC, when in actuality the original writer likened her to the psycho ex-girlfriend of the Democratic Party. My fuckin bad. By the way, in case you don't feel like clicking additional links, although I highly recommend reading Wil Wheaton's blog because he's so damn funny, here is the original blog post that started it all.
“I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on,” she said in the interview, citing an article by The Associated Press.
It “found how Senator Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.”
“There’s a pattern emerging here,” she said.
...
“These are the people you have to win if you’re a Democrat in sufficient numbers to actually win the election. Everybody knows that,” she said in the interview.

Moxie,
thanks for that. A finer example of projection on the part of Obamabots would be very hard to find.
BTW: Will Wheaton, himself, didn't say "I do believe Clinton has turned into the psycho ex-girlfriend of the DNC." He was simply quoting a post from Reddit. While he may agree with the sentiment, he's not responsible for the quote.
Which raises a troubling question: exactly how accurate ~are~ the quotes you use? Speaking for myself and while it may seem like nit-picking, with emotions so involved in this Clinton/Obama dispute among Democrats, wouldn't it be best to double-check when attributing quotes? The flames are going so well now, I doubt they require additional gasoline.
Troubling question? Excuse me? When have you ever known me not to point people in the direction where I got something?
I read the phrase "psycho ex-girlfriend" on Wil's blog. I linked back to the exact post entitled "hillary clinton: the psycho ex-girlfriend of the democratic party". I did not put quotes around "I do believe Clinton has turned into the psycho ex-girlfriend of the DNC" because quotes suggest they are the full statement. I was paraphrasing the overall sentiment.
You and I have never been adversarial in the past, but if you would like to go through the items I DO quote to see if you can pull some sort of "GOTCHA!" on me, go right ahead. Let me know what you find.
