George Bush is doing a damn fine job of putting our country straight into a depression already, in case you haven't noticed.
I'm not sure what the "5,000 for every child born here" refers to. I do know that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are going to cost us taxpayers a trillion dollars plus. That's more than 3,000 dollars for every man, woman, AND child now living in the U.S. That's quite a lot of money to spend trying (and failing) to capture Osama Bin Laden, and trying (and failing) to find imaginary WMD's, wouldn't you say?
Quite obviously, 'Becki' is 100% batshit carazy. Unlike her I can back up my claim:
1)The Communist link that 'she' cites seems to have originated in an opinion column from Feb. 19 in The National Review (always a dubious source at best) written by Lisa Schiffren. The article is notable mostly for its old-school McCarthyist tone, thinly veiled racism/xenophobia and whathefuck conclusions. Lisa Schiffren was one of Dan Quayle's speech writers and was responsible for the speech castigating (the fictional) Murphy Brown.
2)Note 'Becki's' myspace page. Bow down before the Britney-shrine!
