What does this tell you? A man who has been a life-long Republican, whose family has been registered Republicans since the year before LINCOLN WAS ELECTED, has packed it in!

Lifelong Republican, Marine veteran and former congressman Pete McCloskey has left the GOP and registered with the Democratic Party.

McCloskey says he is disgusted with the "succession of ethical scandals, congressmen taking bribes and abuse of power by both the Republican House leadership and the highest appointees of the White House."

"A pox on (Republicans) and their values," he wrote.

People who either donated or personally supported Clinton are defecting over to Obama's camp. Too bad. I wish they'd go to Edwards. I think Obama is a little too green around the edges, needs some political seasoning. I'd be all for an Edwards/Obama ticket though.

Study shows 70% of Iraqi children are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, except it's not really POST... I suppose they will need to rename it CHRONIC TRAUMA Stress Disorder. Children can adapt, but to expect them to be hunkydorey after YEARS of watching their friends, siblings, parents, neighbors, schools, houses, and total strangers blown to bits in front of their eyes is asinine. What do you think these children will become in 10 years?
