Now, it's time for a cute squirrel story...Found this little guy in our yard yesterday afternoon. Long story short - called around and found a man who rehabilitates squirrels and raccoons a couple towns away, so we drove him over - fell asleep in my hands on the way. I have a bad photo using my camera phone of that... adorable.
Awww.
Okay on to other news...
Lawmakers to open Tillman-Lynch hearing - "The hearing will cover both Tillman's death three years ago and the 2003 rescue of Pfc. Jessica Lynch in
Iraq — a story embellished by the military, which videotaped her rescue by special forces, stirring complaints of government media manipulation."
Car crash kills author David Halberstam - "David Halberstam, a journalist who produced a steady stream of well-regarded books on topics as diverse as the Vietnam war, the civil rights movement and sports, died as he lived: On his way to an interview."
Sheryl Crow reaches out to touch Karl Rove's arm, he reacts like a dickhead. Why she's want to touch him with anything other than a full hazmat suit and a 40 foot pole is beyond me, but I guess she was feeling brave that day.

Glad they're having hearings about the Lynch and Tillman matters. On CNN she was briefly interviewed afterwards and was asked what is her opinion on why the military made up the fairy tale story of her capture and rescue. To my profound disappointment she copped out and said "I have no idea" when the answer is obvious. She SHOULD have said "So they could use my "story" for propaganda purposes; the invasion of Iraq had hit a rough patch and they needed an Audie Murphy story to perk up morale on the home front." Pretty simple.
Have you heard the latest scandal about Karl Rove? It turns out he's at
the heart of the Justice Department scandal and he's been pushing for
years to have federal agencies use contracts and other favors to
support Republican candidates. He's out of control and it's time for
him to go.
John Edwards is calling for Karl Rove to be fired, and he's going to
announce the call Thursday night on national television as part of the
first presidential debates. We want to make sure that when he does
that, it's clear to the country that he's speaking for thousands of us.
They have a counter online that shows how many signatures they've
gathered. You can add your name to Edwards' petition and make sure
you're counted at:

Thanks
I'm SURE that given Crow's apparent arrival from a strange planet called One-Squaria, she'll understand why few people other than chimps might want to shake her hand or be touched by a Global awareness that has a rather unsanitary downside to saving mother earth. Leftists typically are unhygenic, but this takes the cake, even in jest.
