It will never cease to amaze me that this man has a TV show.
Anyone in the military should be screaming for his head over attacking a 29-year Army vet who looks like anyone's mom (or grandma, depending on your generation).

Rightwing blog claims Michael Ware heckled John McCain. Not that McCain doesn't deserve a good heckling, but Ware invites everyone to view the videotape which shows that he didn't do anything. Because apparently rightwingers don't realize that there's such a thing as video, or that it can be taped and re-run at any time.

Gary Sinise, actor who portrayed wounded soldier in Forrest Gump, has been quietly entertaining the troops (you know, actually SUPPORTING them), without the need to draw attention to it. BIG UPS, Gary, you rock. (Tip to Welcome to Pottersville for the great story).

Did the US attempt to kidnap two top level Iranian officials, and by proxy start the whole thing rolling with Iran? The US admits to the raid and that it holds five junior officials, by the way.

Can I use the same tactic to silent anyone on the left who criticizes Oliver North?
I doubt that the 29-year-old Army vet in question was in any way involved in the Iran-Contra scandal.
Don't you ever get weary of carrying water for war criminals and mass murderers? Surely it must get tiresome after a while.
O'Reilly attacking and silencing a general with a different opinion is just another neo-con form of Hitlership.
Hitler silenced his critics and the neo-cons have taken it to a modern day level.

I'm really perplexed as to how O'Reilly can have a fan base large enough to warrant FOX NEWS keeping him on.
He uses his freedom of speech to criticize others for using theirs.

The article about Sinise is very interesting and encouraging. Thanks for linking to it.
Ruler of the Toilet should give it a read. It might help him to loosen his blinders...ever so slightly, at least. All though, in light of every post I've ever read by Toilet, I have to have my doubts that even Sinise's good work will have any positive effect on Toilet's deeply rooted, dug in inability to view the world beyond Bushidiocy.

Why hasn't O'Reilly been canned yet? Because he's on Faux, that's why. On a real news network, his job duties would include emptying the garbage at night. Faux never fires its hosts, no matter how crass, gross, and just plain wrong they may be.
Hittle also spoke the truth... his truth and the truth of few that thought it was ok to manipulate the masses with the power of hate to justify nothing more than bigotry... nothing far from what Bill O'Reilly does.
