Pat Tillman's story makes me all of the above and more.
Oh that's nice, they used "fines" (fine dirt) to use in the mixtures needed to fill potholes. And those fines came from the site where 9/11 debris was dumped, along with the pulverized human remains. So instead of working with 9/11 family members on a solution of where to properly bury and memorialize their loved ones, they just decided to make them into pieces of road. Well, I guess they had to look like they were doing something environmental by showing everyone they can recycle or something.
C&L again has brilliant video of Sean Hannity making himself look like an utter asshole on national television. The depths of this dipshit's inane-ness cannot be accurately described. He actually used Republican talking points on someone who DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN about Republican talking points.
Rev. Debra W. Haffner makes a very good point about the government's billion-dollar abstinence only programs and the cultural "just do it" attitude toward sexuality. She suggests that we as a society focus on allowing adolescents the freedom to explore their sexuality after reaching an appropriate level of maturity. BOIL HER IN OIL! BURN HER AT THE STAKE! EEEEEVVVVUUUULLLL!!! Or completely logical. Either way.
Umm, by going in front of congress and telling them one thing, and then tons of emails surfacing that says you did something ELSE... that would be PERJURY, right? Can someone tell me why the Attorney General has the right to lie under oath?
Tom DeLay says the DEMS are like Hitler. Gotta say, THAT'S one I haven't heard.

Everything mentioned in the article is atrocious, but using the remains of 9/11 victims is one that should make people take notice.
As far as Delay saying the Democrats are like Hitler, Delay is the one who destroyed everyone in his path and he is still trying.

I've seen Tom Delay's oily head on TV a lot lately. True, he's trying to peddle his new book. But, just as with "Mr. Newt", WHY would anyone actually book him? Even if Christ Almighty gets off the 11:30 Greyhound from Heaven tomorrow and gives Tommy Boy a 10 minute tounge kiss live on Fox News, he's STILL political toast.
On Moxie's Gonzales office pool, put me down for a resignation on May 11. If I win, I'll take all comers at 2:1 that Cheney will similarly take a hike by Dec 24. I gots the fever, baby!
DeLay and Hitler - that is suitable in the same sentance. I happen to REMEMBER when Hitler was at his height. DeLay is of similar (but less competent) stripe as members of the Third Reich - tactics, (im)morals and all.
DeLay should to know about Hitler.
Count me in on that pool, but I think Gonzo resignation will happen mid-April! I think Cheney will have a heart attack or stroke before he can resign (not that I would have anything to do with it!!!), either that or he's immortal having sold his soul and such.

Why are people still finding human remains at Ground Zero more than five years later? Because of the hurried manner in which the cleanup/[coverup] proceeded in the aftermath of it. It doesn't surprise me at all that they are finding remains there still. Disgusts me but doesn't surprise me. Another good question is: Why was the steel debris hurriedly shipped off to China and India to be melted down?
Regarding the Tillman matter, I certainly wasn't shocked to hear that the Army's "investigation" into it found "mistakes made" but "no coverup". The latest in the Pentagon's ongoing effort to discredit itself, seemingly the only thing they are successful at. Just teasing, I know they aren't TRYING to discredit themselves but it sure seems like they go out of their way to lie about EVERYTHING. I say again, if the Dept. of "Defense" claims it's raining you'd be a fool to not look out the window first before grabbing a raincoat.
