Getting Condi Laid?

Sounds like FOX News correspondent James Rosen is trying to set Condi up on a date with Fox News anchor Lauren Green...
ROSEN: … All right. I close with a gift for you. You met this person once, I believe, but you really, I think, ought to know each other because this woman is… I think you’ll have an interest in knowing her. She is one of our Fox News anchors in New York. Her name is Lauren Green. She is brilliant, she’s beautiful, she’s African-American, she’s single and she’s a concert pianist in her spare time.

RICE: My goodness.

ROSEN: And she asked me to give you her CD and I promised her that I would.

RICE: That’s perfect.

ROSEN: And here’s her doing a number of different classical pieces.

RICE: Well, that’s special.

ROSEN: So there you have it.

RICE: Thank her very much and I look forward to seeing her sometime.

ROSEN: All right. She’s going to want to hear from you.

RICE: And maybe even playing dual piano sometime.

I once met Ozzy Osbourne. I was 17, and had worked my ass off for over a year to snag the interview, which was just around the 10th Anniversary of Randy Rhoads' death (thanks again, Mike Schnapp!). A friend of mine was an artist, and had done a fantastic color pencil drawing of Ozzy, Randy and Zakk Wylde and asked that I give it to him. I did.

What I did NOT do was inform him that my artist friend was brilliant, beautiful, white, or single. See, that information is only useful if you are trying to hook a couple of people up.

Just sayin'.

Funny how many times that you have a successful female in the spotlight that is focused on her career, it is assumed that she is gay.
Why is nobody stepping up; Rosen is out of line. I am certain that he would not do this with two male counterparts in an interview.
Where’s N.O.W?
Guess, their busy on the WPGA tour.

I don't give a damn if she's gay, I'm just surprised someone on FOX was being SO DAMN OBVIOUS about it.

If she is gay, her working for the Bush administration and Republicans is kinda ass-backwards, no? More proof Condi is nothing but a TOOL! Spoken from someone who is gay.

Come on Moxie. This is kinda of a cheap shot. How people get their love and affection, and get their roxs off is none of our business. As long it is with consenting abults. No underage kids and frizzy animals. If you want to screw a rhino, well thats a different story.

Waff - again, I don't care if she likes men, women or both at the same time (in fact, more power to her!), I just thought it was hysterical how blatent FOX was being about it.

Besides, it's always heartwarming to get further confirmation that members of the "conservative" party (who typically like to diss gays) can be just as FLAMING as the rest of the world.

If the priesthood features a higher percentage of gays than the general population.. Then.. it could be, there are more gay republicans than in the general population.

OK Mox. I got your point and humor.

Unfortunately I don't get Fox on my sat TV.

But I get Jerry Springer.

Glad you liked the joke.

This is one of the biggest media myths in the world. I'm willing to bet, Moxie, that I know many more Republicans than you, and guess what, they generally don't care about gays in the least. Sure, they might not support redefining a 5,000 year old institution in order to accomodate gays, but otherwise gay couples (two professionals with no kids) are ripe for Republican recruitment. I think the press and the gay leftists like Avarosis know this, so they publicize any anti-gay GOP nutcase they can find (hint: we don't like Pat Robertson either) in order to cast all Republicans as "anti-gay".
