Bush has sunk to a new low, and just as us evul libruls begin to speculate when the next terrorist warning will come to be the latest diversion, we get one!

Oh, and just in case you were wondering? The Freepers think that Joseph Wilson will be indicted. I didn't bother to go through and read all the comments in Freeperland, but here was a winner quoted in C&L comments:
Yep. That says it all, doncha think?
Bounce that around for a while - back later!
President Bush's job approval rating has fallen to his lowest rating ever. 37 percent now approve of the job he is doing as president, while 58 percent disapprove.

An official from the Department of Homeland Security told CNN that the agency has received intelligence regarding "a specific but not credible" threat to New York's subway system but intelligence officials believe the information is of "doubtful credibility."

No I don't think this says it all because:
79% of Rep approve. (remaining 21% most likly McCain supporters)
84% of Dems Disapproved.
That 84% tips the Scales.
As long as 51% or 52% of the Population still votes rep. this is all that matters.
The recent T-Shirt debate is a classic example of Rep vs. Dem.
This is a good example of the Democrats loose in the Polls.
(Former FBI Director Freeh's book does not help; but that's all hush hush.)
In other fear news a 6,000 word letter from Alqeda's #2Ayman al-Zawahiri to the man whose demise has been claimed by the Bush Regime many times, the head chopper in Iraq AbuMusab al-Zarqawi is reported by the MSM to say, that they have lost a lot of the top leaders, asks that the beheadings and bombongs of fellow Muslims stop and asks for money to be sent back to Al-Qaeda. I wonder if the CIA/MOSSAD was kind enough to provide a return address.
Also the terror alert in NYC came from info obtained in Iraq during a raid.
This just in the Dish citing infidelity has filed for divorce from the Spoon.

"As the NYPD moves to heighten security on the city's subways, Federal Homeland Security officials said Thursday night that the agency does NOT9caps Humans) consider a possible terror attack on the subway system to be a serious threat"-

I think what is also mildly amusing is the supreme court case being heard for assisted suicide. It appears that the christian conservatives golden boy CJ John Roberts is questioning the AG over the issue of the Controlled Substance Act. It also appears that Robets is in favor of local control of the issue of assisted suicide rather than control at the federal level.

I found it spooky that while I was watching a tape delayed news cast of Bush's speech about the war in Iraq and all the terrorist attacks that have been diverted by his watch... it was suddenly interrupted by a news flash that was the news break announcing the "threat" to NY subways with the NY mayor in news conference. Talk about perfect timing...

Still sipping the Kool Aid, I see.
What makes you so certain yours, or any vote either counts or is counted anymore? (That is, if you don't belong to the Party of Diebold?)
Another example from today's news of Rep(tilian) Con Kool Aid: Karl Rove ~asked~ for another, last fling at testifying before the Plame Grand Jury.
Fermented Horsehit. Fitzgerald subpoenaed him. He had no choice.
They've wrestled the terrorist evildoer to the ground in NYC and sent it to abu ghraib to be tortured: a soda bottle.
Interesting that the story has changed from what was originally reported. At first, it was "credible but not verified" and was very NON-specific ("terrorists might at some point try to attack NYC subways by hiding bombs in briefcases, backpacks, duffle bags, or strollers" . . . in other words, they might try to attack using similar tactics as before, hiding a bomb in something that can hide a bomb well). Now they're saying it was "specific but not credible".
Anon: I haven't looked at the details of the assisted suicide case, but my initial reading was that Roberts was AGAINST letting local/state gov'ts have a say in the matter, stating that it undermined federal ability to regulate controlled substances.
"Roberts repeatedly raised concerns that a single exception for Oregon would allow other states to create a patchwork of rules. 'If one state can say it's legal for doctors to prescribe morphine to make people feel better, or to prescribe steroids for bodybuilding, doesn't that undermine the uniformity of the federal law and make enforcement impossible?' he asked."
