DeLay and Blunt Swap Donations
Well THAT's a surprise! MY GOODNESS! Tom DeLay acting unethically??? But the man's a friggin' saint!

Tom DeLay deliberately raised more money than he needed to throw parties at the 2000 presidential convention, then diverted some of the excess to longtime ally Roy Blunt through a series of donations that benefited both men's causes.
When the financial carousel stopped, DeLay's private charity, the consulting firm that employed DeLay's wife and the Missouri campaign of Blunt's son all ended up with money, according to campaign documents reviewed by The Associated Press.
What a couple of slugs.

Hmmm...raise more money than you need for an event and pocket the difference? Sounds like the basic plot of The Producers Mel Brooks should sue!
P.S. Moxie, there's nothing wrong with sarcasm. Some say it's the lowest form of wit. But if it weren't for sarcasm, I wouldn't have any wit -- such as it is -- at all!
