Woah Dude! Novak FREAKS OUT on TV!

As has been reported, Robert Novak stormed off the set of "Inside Politics" today during a session with James Carville while they were talking about Katherine Harris.
Full video goodness here.

Curses on national TV and walks off... Wound a little tight there, eh Bob?

UPDATE: He's been suspended from CNN. Ooopsie!

The Inside Politics moderator said he had told Nofacts that he was going to ask him about the CIA leak case before the show.

I'm betting that had as much to do with it or more than Carville calling him on his spinelessness.

Time for CNN to do some catch up with msnbc on Traitorgate now that they have cleared the bad air.

Oh yeah!
Lets just hope Wilbanks(?) doesn't skip out on wedding round 2

CNN was probably done with nofactula before the show began.
He sank to all time lows by using Gannon last week in an article meant to be a defense of his integrity.
That's as low as you can go (next to Gannon) in mediaworld.

I'm surprised Novak could sit across the table from Forehead and Carville for all these years without throwing a chair at one of them. I'd say if walking off the set and saying bullshit is the worst Novak can do, then he is a spineless pussy. I would've long ago divorced the Cajun from his teeth.

Watched the video. Looks to me like Novak was on edge right from the start, and when he decided to bail, just did it. Maybe there was off-camera stuff before the on-air action, who knows?

Carville is trying his best not to laugh out loud, at the end. Priceless.

There is scuttlebutt that the large dark red book on the table is the Who's Who book Novak claims he culled Plame's name from, and that they were going to confront him on the fact that her name wasn't in there, so rather than have to defend himself he decided to walk off.

Not saying that's the truth, but that's the rumor. Go here and scroll to the bottom of the post - that's where they discuss the book thing.

My paper this morning in its AP blips says that Novak "is expected to be off the air effective immediately for what is believed to be at least two weeks", and then goes on to say that " CNN sources insist it is not an official suspension but was mutual."

I'm now much less impressed with CNN's handling of this. Nofactula has been way out of line. He broke one of journalism 101's basic rules in outing a CIA agent after being told twice by the CIA not to. He sank to new lows last week by using Gannon as his source for a defense of his journalistic integrity. You can't get any lower than that unless your a whitehouse manwhore posing as a journalist, and doing a very poor job at it.
Now he he has gone and blown a gasket on TV, cursing and storming off.

He shouldn't be deciding how long he wants to take off. His ass should be shitcanned.
I'm pissed at how their association with Nofactula is tainting their perspective on this case. thr most trusted my ass. When it comes to their impartiality on the CIA leak case, they're becoming a joke like Faux News.

I've called them twice already to complain. I think I might have to call them a few more times before I get it out of my system.

The only way Novak could be any less credible of a scumbag would be if he went online like his buddy.

Not a big deal, it's only TV
No different than Jerry Spinger, Oprah, or WWF.
CNN has been losing ratings.
This is all good for Ted, or AOL or whatever Fat Cat owns it now.
I never liked the Washington Gang or whatever they called them selves anyway.

I agree that the parties are two sides of the same "we know better than you do" coin.

I just didn't understand the liberal/1984 thing.

I know I'm late in this thread, but I wanted to point out that this reminds of the that time Sensenbrenner (I think that's the one) literally walked out of a committee hearing he was chairing because he couldn't be bothered to hear anything that he didn't agree with, then he had his staff turn off the mikes so those staying couldn't continue to talk on the record. Yes, it's all about sticking your fingers in your ears and going "LA LA LA" nowadays.
