Cindy Sheehan said a man earlier in the day drove over 500 crosses and 40 American flags, a memorial for the 1,800 Americans killed in Iraq...
"One of the crosses lodged in his wheel well and popped his tire," she told reporters on a telephone conference call.
The man was arrested as he tried to change a tire a short distance down the road, Sheehan said.
Court papers identified him as Larry Northern, 59, from nearby Waco.

Hypocrisy is the name of the game.
-Who is screeching about the breakdown of Cindy Sheehan's marriage? None other than Rush Limbaugh, who gets married as often as I fill the tank on my minivan.
As far as the flags go, I remember seeing a picture taken after the 2000 Gopper Convention that showed a floor with hundreds, if not thousands, of American flags just tossed.
The flag is worth nothing to Goppers if it isn't being used as a propaganda tool.

It used to be certain segments of the right could be counted on to have some class, granted I'm going way back to Bill Buckley and the Rockefeller republicans. Barry Goldwater had certain hornery charm about him, and I get older, I find myself more in tune with what he was about. I also get the sense he would wipe his feet, wash his hands after he took a dump. and he was who he was because he believed in something. (Reagan had some of that old gentleness.)
The problem with the current crop of the GOP is that you can't count on most of them to act civil, at least based on the behaviour I've seen in the past few days on several blogs.
Do you know enough to wash your hands after you crap Mike? And do you think being a Republican frees you from the Social Contract? Do you even know what the Social Contract is, Mike, you Enlightenment denying Flat Earther Dittohead cretin? When you say we are defending the West from the Muslim hordes, do you even understand what we are supposed to be defending?
Moxie is host to quite a few GOPers who are for the most part polite, and well spoken folks. Maybe because they have the sense to realise they are ambassadors.
