I had seen the Doonsbury toon in my local rag. Had a good laugh and then was very sad. It is always stupifying to read or listen to our president and I am continually amazed that people voted for the guy. It makes my mind numb, but perhaps his discourse is just the anestiesia America needs to follow W, Rove and Co. into a war we didn't need in the first place.
Loved the link to the old american century. By the way, when one is born with a silver coke spoon up one's nose, there is every desire to keep the funds flowing in the propper direction rather than sacrifice said spoon.
Old American Century has TONS of great old-style posters. I know I'll be putting more up in the future.
I know what you mean about Bush-voters. I don't understand it either. I don't understand right-wing bloggers who act like WE'RE the nut jobs. Like we must be crunchy granola tree-huggin' dirty hippies with no jobs mooching off mom and dad and we have nothing better to do than sit around and bitch about SOMETHING. No offense to crunchy granola tree-huggin' dirty hippies (shine on you crazy diamonds!).
We just have to keep blogging. Keep posting links to the articles that fall through the MSM cracks. Make sure our friends read our blogs and make sure they spread the news.
It WILL change. I just know it. I just hope it changes before it gets much worse.
