How conveeeeeenient, to quote an oldy-but-goody SNL skit.
Rush Limbaugh, gasbag of the conservative sort, thinks what was done in Abu Ghraib was "sort of like hazing, a fraternity prank. Sort of like that kind of fun." but salad dressing throw on Pat Buchanon is "fomenting violence." Click for Think Progress' notes on it (w/pics).
While I don't particularly condone throwing salad dressing on Pat Buchanon, since I find him to be a lot more TRULY conservative and respect his core beliefs AND he was the epitome of grace under pressure after getting doused, this is the EXACT reason I think 90% of rightwingers are a bunch of morons.
This blowhard, who people listen to all the time and point to as a voice of the Republicans, thinks torture of prisoners is like a prank, but throwing edible products at a man once is paramount to raising swords and yelling "CHARGE!!!"
Are you out of your goddamn minds? Do you seriously agree with that assessment?

I think Rush might be a little jealous. His thinner self is probably thinking back to when he was 900 pounds and how he drank salad dressing by the gallon, while at the same time eating exactly eight sticks of butter.
I think someone hit Ann Coulter with a pie not too long ago, and the funny thing is, she gained eight pounds once the pie hit her skin, bringing her overall body weight to 87 pounds.
I totally agree with Rush on this one. Liberals only love violence when it has the potential to make them laugh or bring them more power...which is pathetic. They ignore murder when it is their own....(Ahem ted kennedy ahem) and they ignore racism when it is their own (ahem robert "kkk" byrd ahem)....Pathetic!
Aaron, you agree with Rush that torturing prisoners is equivalent to a college hazing (done all in fun, "boys will be boys" style) and that throwing salad dressing is inciting violence?
I'd be interested to know why torturing prisoners is less heinous than throwing food product...
y'know, it wouldn't hurt if robertson got doused with salad dressing either. especially it thousand island. that stuff is rancid! X(
