Bad News and Good News

Bad News:
  1. I witnessed a car accident while on my lunch break.
  2. My daughter's preschool called to say she had a fever of 101.5.
  3. I was IN a car accident on the way to pick her up.
  4. I have a sprained shoulder and my car will need a lot of repair.
  5. I will be sore as hell tomorrow.
Good News:
  1. Everyone involved with the lunch break accident was okay.
  2. My kid is a trooper and is already feeling better.
  3. The accident I was in wasn't my fault.
  4. It could have been a lot worse.
  5. I have been prescribed Percocet.

Best news of all? I should have the CNN video clip by tomorrow :)

I'm glad you and your child are OK.

Be careful with the painkillers. When I worked for XPW I saw a lot of wrestler get hooked on the staff stuff and others right quick.

God bless.

Any accident you can walk away from is a good one...and percocet is one heck of a good pain killer.

Thanks everyone, that's really sweet of you. :)

All I can say is I am SO glad she wasn't in the car with me when it happened. I've never been in a car accident before - it was creepy, after I saw the first one I got a really bad feeling. In that micro-second where I knew I was going to get hit and time crawled, I thought to myself "yep, I knew it."

I'm sure I'll be up and around soon - I doubt I will need more than a couple perc to ride me through. My back's stiff, but I think some easy walking and stretching will loosen it up.

Thanks again everyone :) I'll be back later when I'm all drugged up and will write funny things :)

Hope you & the little one feel better soon (though I'd imagine you'll beat her to the punch with your "feel good pills").

Tell Kid Bastard to take good care of you two.

It's got to be Herr Busche's fault.

Damn that inbred bastard.

Oh, Moxie, I'm sorry! I hope that Percocet is working out for you. I've been told by many people of conflicting values that car accidents are life's way of telling you to slow down. I hope you're getting some down time.

It's all good Poppy, and you're right, I guess it was time for a short break from day-to-day hustle and bustle. I just don't like the feeling of being out of my rhythm, but it's ok. :)))
