DeLay just released this statement:
Mrs. Schiavo’s death is a moral poverty and a legal tragedy. This loss happened because our legal system did not protect the people who need protection most, and that will change. The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior, but not today. Today we grieve, we pray, and we hope to God this fate never befalls another. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Schindlers and with Terri Schiavo’s friends in this time of deep sorrow.

All I do is take deep breaths knowing what idiots all of the right-lifers are and what awful hypocrites they are, politicians included. I breathe and know that if this was a Democratic Prez or Congress there would be rioting. Not to mention the riots about the Administration lying to the people, yadda yadda yadda. Anti-Choicers prefer their blindness their ignorance and their sheepishness to reality, truth, and real compassion.
I really hope the day will come when a Democrat stands up and says "cutting Medicare and not working to save social security and cutting funding for schools and cutting welfare programs are examples of not protecting people who need protection most."
But spineless that Dems are in the past few years, I doubt that anyone will actually say that.
I'm not sure what Dennis just said, but I believe it was snarky.
