Bill's Will

A brilliant read I found through Unequivocal Notion:

First, let me make clear this document isn't meant to instruct my wife what to do should I ever turn up brain dead. She wouldn't need written instruction, my wife. She's been around me long enough to know that even if I only get to the point where I no longer think The Simpsons is funny, I would prefer to have my plug pulled...

Hey, Mox...nice site! Linked here from Bill, he has a too cool Living Will...sad to have to do it but I am doing the same! Your commentary is awesome, you should post on the Fray (MSN). We need input like yours there to fight off the whackos. Later, babe.

For the first time last night I heard the most intelligent coment on Terri Shiavo. On her being starved to death. Deepak Chopra said " There are 40,000 children who die EVERYDAY of starvation. Why isnt that on the news like the Shiavo story"?
Maybe if the media, republicans and religious leaders treated that as a crisis there would be no more starving children.
Michael Shiavo has gone way beyond what could be expected of anyone and he finally was able to give his wife some dignity to do what she asked.
Lets hook up the pope for the next ten years and see how he would like it. Oh, would that be inconvenient for the Catholic Church??

Fantastic Barbara. I couldn't agree more.

I think I am going to do a living will myself. Thankfully the Catholic church rejected me as a baby because I was illigitemate. So glad that early huliation now means that I won't have to have an open hole in my tummy to eat if I can't do it on my own.

But Lilly! All you needed to do was pay the church a lot of money and they would have accepted you just fine and danderino!

Yeah, I wonder how the Vatican would handle it if the Pope went on life support...
